[Enhancing hole feature] : Ability to create holes on cylindrical/conical surfaces

Post by Piero69 »

currently hole feature allows only planar surfaces, it's so useful the Ability to create holes also on cylindrical/conical surfaces. The reference could be a 3d sketch (mapped on the surface) with a point as center of the hole.

what do you think?

The hole usually uses a sketch as basis and can be "drilled" into non-plane faces already now. As centers serve all centers of arcs and circles in the sketch.
So I think it's a good idea.
