Hello =)
I converted from the dark side and Solid Works to Free CAD and after some initial struggle I was able to manage everything I want till the assembly.
Added the A2Plus mod via addons, restarted Free CAD.
1. Start new file
2. go to A2Plus suite
3. save file
4. add parts
5. scratch head because the assembly items are grey and google does not find in my language nor englisch an answer.... help -_-

Re: A2Plus icons grey and not active
First select something on the first part, then something on the second part. (Use the CTRL Key to have both things selected)
After selection the relevant constraint buttons get active.

Re: A2Plus icons grey and not active
You need to use the control key to select second part.
- Select first part
hold down control key
select second part
For more of a SolidWorks style you can try using this work around that I cobbled together. It is a workbench with two functions. The one called FullAuto should work like SolidWorks in that you select two surfaces and a default constraint is created. If you don't like it, modify it or change the constraint type. https://github.com/DanMiel/Auto-picks
Installing is done by adding the folder to the Mod folder. You will need to Customize your menu by adding the icons to a menu bar.
But, the answer to your question is: use the control key when selecting parts .

Re: A2Plus icons grey and not active
Ok in the video tutorials they all were active. And even when selecting two cylindircal surfaces of twobodies it did not work....
will try again later. Thx for the advice =)
Any other goto mods as Solid Works Snob (did prefer Solid Edge though xD but now a fan of the mighty FreeCAD)?`Perhaps for Part Design?
