How to copy SVG icon?

Post by Roy_043 »

Is there a way to copy an existing SVG icon?
Std_SendToPythonConsole.svg is missing and I think it is identical to Applications-python.svg.

You can create a redirection, so that the new page [[File:Std_SendToPythonConsole.svg]] redirects to [[File:Applications-python.svg]]. However, I don't like doing this.

I prefer to upload the icon again, with a different name, as mentioned by Renato. In my opinion, this is better, because if the command gets a proper icon that is not shared with another command, we can update this icon exactly, and it won't affect other commands. This creates duplicate data, but icons are pretty small in size, like 5 KB, so it's not a lot.
