Re: glider workbench
nice to see that FreeCAD can be the basis for such very special applications
and how small teams and individuals can use its force to create interesting and free solutions for anybody.

Re: glider workbench
thats the new open-source real-live-render-engine
The ability to extend FreeCAD is a feature where FreeCAD easily outperforms commercial cad solutions. And such special tools are needed in nearly every branch. Also no commercial (closed source) product can ever compete in this area. So there is only one chance for commercial CAD-system to stay alive: open the sourcesnice to see that FreeCAD can be the basis for such very special applications

Re: glider workbench
Hi looo,
Nice ! Is it you flying in the picture ?
This summer, I had the chance to do ma second 20min flight (duo, with a real pilot) during my holidays at Pyla dune.
What a wonderful experience ! So smooth, and both peaceful and really exciting.
Next time, I'll tell them about open-source Freecad-designed wings !

I heard a lot of good things about dyne de pyla. I was already near to this place twice. But twice without a glider. Next time I will try to take the glider-gear with me
