Shapebinder references invisible internal names

Post by moggie » Sun Jan 12, 2020 12:12 pm

Not sure if this is a bug or an omission, but using doing some model edits in 0.18 I noticed that a shapebinder reference shows the internal name and not the display name set with F2. Finding the referenced feature can then tricky as the name isn't visible in the tree, it isn't a link that can be clicked to locate the feature, and it doesn't get found via the selection view search either. Would be great if the shapebinder reference showed the display name plus internal name if that might be useful, and a clickable link like some other features have to select the linked item would be a nice touch.

Try with the 0.19 version, AppImage. Maybe it's already there.

Requests like this will be made in the development version and will not be backported to 0.18.
