After using measure everything greyed

Post by robinh »

I was using draft work bench for simple line drawing, then needed to measure the angle between two lines.

I suppose I used Part-Measure. And labelled some angles ok.

Then I wanted to stop measuring but everyting is greyed.

Now all I can do is more measures.

I can't draw lines, all object creation tools greyed out.
Part Measue menu items are all greyed.
Almost everything is grey.

Part Measue-Clear all is greyed.

Close & open again did not help.

How do I get rid of Measure and just continue building my model?.

The Measure-panel has a "Close" button. Doesn't it?

Yes.
But it was grey too!

I believe I tried colsing the file and reopening it. That did not help.

In the end I exited Freecad and did a complete new start. That worked.

It seems there is no escape from Measure and it turns on grey nearly everywhere.

Perhaps it was a glitch in your version? It's 250 commits behind.
