I want help with extruding a face.
I have succesfully extruded a face using the Draft workbench and the trim tool. However, you cannot do this with python alone.
I am looking for a solution that will work for both GUI and python standalone.
I looked around and saw the Extrude tool under the Part workbench.
I have watched video tutorials, but i could not get this to work.
So, i select a face and i click on the Extrude tool. All is fine till now. Then i change the variables and i click Apply, but i get "No shapes selected for extrusion. Select some, first".
I go to the Model tab and i select an object, but the same message persists. Anyone knows how to extrude a face, please?

Re: Extruding a face
You can make a Facebinder of the face in Draft workbench and extrude that facebinder.
