Dear FreeCAD Experts,
I'm really fascinated about this software, but somehow I'm running out of time for my all engineering projects. I hope there someone in the group working as a freelancer using FreeCAD?
I'm looking for an experienced designer, typical projects are as shown in the attached screenshot.
- hydraulic applications equipment
- design of limited assembly with 1..3 moving parts for later cfd or fea analysis
- negative volume creation by using boolean operations
- robust parametric model controlled by a table with parameters, to modify some geometry features
- no 2D drawing required
- design based on simple screenshots, 2D drawings or other available 3D models
- Python programming know-how will be a plus
- basic meshing for cfd will be a plus
- the contractor must be based in the European Union and be VAT registered
- delivery time 10..15 days
- communication in German, English, Polish, Spanish is possible
Best,
Damian B.

Hi virengos,
If there is nothing secret in your designs, how about having them modeled by FC community and donating to FC project ?

Dear Damian
I would be interested in working for you, doing the CAD model using FreeCAD. I have worked in aerospace and defense for the last 3 years and I am specialized in CAD automation.
I am a german and polish native speaker and know english very good.
Contact me to discuss further information.
Sincerely,
Aleksander Sadowski

Re: Paid work - mechanical components
Hi all,
I really like this idea!
Let me think about all the possibilities and speak with my team about this, later this week.
Best,
Damian
Re: Paid work - mechanical components
I support this idea and would be glad to help in the hydraulic design + basic meshing, depending on the complexity of the part(s)

Hi, Welcome. Main thing to start is that you have to explain clearly your project and give the driving lines in a new topic.shukivaknin wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 4:13 am Hey, I am very interested in that! Can you explain how or contact me about that?
Thanks!
Project : What is the product ? Its goal ? Are there existing parts that you want to model in a parametric way ? To modify ? Is that starting from scratch ? What is your expected deadline ? How do you imagine people to commit parts (eg. through a Github project) ? Do you want some reviewing process ?
Driving lines : Is that one part or several assembled ones ? If several, all in one file or each in its file ? Simple assembly through coordinates or using an assembly workbench ? Do you prefer a modeling with Part (CSG style) or PartDesign (feature style) ? ...
You can link the new topic here so it's easier to find.
