.dmg not working

Post by DavidR8 » Tue Sep 01, 2020 8:25 pm

Hello all, first post here.
I have downloaded the Mac OS .dmg about ten times now. Both saving the file and opening it with the default disk mounter.
Every time I try to run it I get a message that says the image is not recognized. The file is only 367 MB but takes ages to download on my 25Mbps service.
I'm running Mohave v10.14.5 so I think my OS is sufficiently current.
I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

I recommend to use the 0.19 version, especially on the Mac. It has improved stability.
FreeCAD_0.19-22284-macOS-x86_64-conda.dmg should have a size of 826323946 MB. Download takes here some minutes, so it's not the server. There must be some other bottleneck.

Thanks Chris.
At the risk of appearing inept, where is the .19 package located?

Edit: I think I found it on the Downloads page...
