Ticket #4508 - Grouping problem (object disappearing after drag drop into group)
If group and object has same prefix, then when putting object into this group, or pulling out, object may dissapear
After close / open project, dissapeared object will be on place before grouping operation, even if project was saved after object disappearing.
This affect all type of objects, but only when group name and object name has same prefix.
Example in attachement. Try to pull out or drop into group.

Re: BUG : Grouping problem (object disappearing)
Problem still exist when object has same name start.

Re: Ticket #4508 - Grouping problem (object disappearing after drag drop into group)
The linked video doesn't exist anymore.
I cannot reproduce from your description. Perhaps you encountered the following issue, which seems to be non deterministic, but it isn't:
If you drop the file on the group it is moved into the group. If you move it on a file inside of the group, then the files are exchanged. This seems to be independent from the names of the objects.
