for sure not I alone. FEM is like all FreeCAD a real community project. All C++ implementation of the mesh data structure was there, vtk post processing was done by ickby and improved by quing feng. The new solver frame work was done in s GSoC. Przemo did a lot of code to. Makkemal and his team did all the thermomechanics.

I started a few years ago by fixing some bugs to get corrrct results for a very simple tension part. That was the start of a working FEM in FreeCAD. Since than I just did not stop to fix bugs. From time to time people added new code and Improved this.

ahh in the regard of opensees, as I said we need some example. Best would be the calculix cantilever from startwb in opensees input format or in opensees python

But all this is another topic.
