My TechDraw Page is A3.
When I print it automagically scales it to fit on a A4 paper (the only size my printer has).
But, I want to print at 1:1 because I want the drawing to show real size (which will fit on an A4 paper). (i.e. I don't care if the border is cut off)
(For some reason I thought I'd figured this out a while back...but, my grey matter IS pretty old. )
From time to time I also need this. I use a pdf-printer (most of them "print" borderless). Then I use pdfposter from the pdftools. This is available for Linux as well as Windows.
In your case (assuming the A3 is Landscape) it would be

Code: Select all

pdfposter -p 2x1a4 input.pdf output.pdf
input.pdf is the A3-pdf and output.pdf will be then 2 A4-pages in Portrait.

Thanks, I'm aware of that tool. And, it a good tool to have in the box.

But, I'm lazy...then I'd have to go delete pdf files all over the place.
