Need plans for wooden barrel (keg)

I AM WORKING on a project for the local senior center building bird houses and we want to make some out of 3/4inch cedar

and got this software to draw plans but I can't make heads or tails out of this , I have never used a cad program before

can some one ether help me make the plan or send me a copy of a plan

the barrel(keg) needs to be 5 inches in diameter and 10 inches tall

I don't know if anyone happens to have such a model or plan. But building a cask shaped birdhouse would be very complicated. For example each stave needs to be beveled and tapered:

So I'm wondering if you're going to do that woodworking ahead of time, or if the seniors will be doing that.

I'm curious too as to why you don't choose a simpler birdhouse:


Even something like this would be simpler than a wine cask:


I don't think a bird would care whether or not the birdhouse is keg shaped...

we have made the simper ones and want more of a challenge

If your referring to bejant's first picture this is complicated, but not impossible.
If on the other hand you are referring to the straight wall version. Maybe I could help.

yes a straight wall barrel would be perfict , It is what I want to do thanks

9 staves for each cask, as shown above, all 8" long.
2 ends having 9 equal sides, inscribed in a 3.404" diameter circle, or 3.2" across flats.
And an access hole.
